DMCA Policy

SEO Expert California respects the intellectual property rights of others. We comply with the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and expect our users to do the same. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing alleged copyright infringement and for submitting counter-notifications.

Our commitment extends to protecting original content related to SEO strategies, marketing insights, and technology guides published on our site. We will promptly process and investigate notices of alleged infringement and take appropriate action under the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws. This includes the removal or disablement of access to infringing material.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. Your notice must include all of the following information to be valid:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity that is to be removed or access disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
  • Your contact information, including an address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Please send your complete notice to our Designated Agent. Incomplete notices cannot be processed effectively.

Counter-Notification Procedure

If you believe that your content was removed or access disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. This counter-notice must be in writing and contain the following essential elements:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district where your address is located (or if you are outside the United States, for any judicial district in which PHP Warning: Constant WP_DEBUG already defined in phar: may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party.
